AFFILIATE MARKETING

What's it all about?

Affiliate marketing is the process by which an affiliate earns a commission for marketing another person’s or company’s products. The affiliate simply promotes that product or service and earns a piece of the profit from each sale they make. The sales are tracked via affiliate links from one website to another.

You can promote other peoples products and services via your own website or blog, Social Media and Email Campaigns.

Lets say for example, you enjoy Travelling. You could set up your own travel blog about your adventures. You can then get in touch with companies like Agoda, Lastminute.com and Travel Supermarket and profit from when people click on those links from your site. You could also search for unique travel products on Amazon and list them on your Facebook page, website or blog. When somebody purchases that product from Amazon, you earn a commission.

A great start for setting up a travel blog or website is at Wix. You can create a free account and start designing your website today with no commitment.

There are numerous courses out there on getting started in Affiliate marketing, here is one that Side Gig Junction Recommends which is at SkillShare: "Create a Stunning Wix Affiliate Website in 1 hour no coding".

Affiliate Marketing really is the holy grail of passive income generation. Once it is all set up, you can just sit back and watch the commissions roll in. Of course, there is work to do before then, but the rewards over the long term are huge.

The earning potential here is extremely high. There are a number of Affiliate Millionaires but this does not happen overnight. This side gig has the potential to replace your full-time job but this will take time and hard work.
