WINDOW
CLEANING

What's it all about?

Okay, so this is probably not the most glamorous side businesses in the world. However, much like dog walking and mowing lawns, this is another superb business model as it is based on repeat custom. Window cleaners typically clean a clients windows every 4 to 6 weeks. This means you only need to build up a certain number of clients to get a nice steady income.

Lets say you want to work one day per work cleaning windows on 10 2/3 bedroom semi detached homes at £15 per house. This is £150 for 1 days work per week and £600 per month. You would only need 40 customers to regularly make £600 per month working 4 days per month.

Also, gone are the days, where you need to risk your life climbing up ladders to clean windows, there are number of very effective telescopic cleaning poles such as this one which do a great job at providing a nice clean to upper floor windows and conservatories. Therefore, you do not even need a van or roof racks to carry your ladders.
